Can I just turn up at the farm?

No, it is really important that you contact us and pre-book a visit to the farm using the link. This is for both safety reason and to ensure your experience is the best it can be. We are not a petting farm.

Are there age restrictions for the walks?

Yes, we cannot allow children under the age of 12 years on walks at this time for safety reasons. However, we have had lots of interest from the under 12 age group. That’s why we have included Meet and Greets and Private Group Bookings. This should ensure that they don’t miss out on an Alpaca Experience that is age appropriate.

Is the walk strenuous?

No, the walk is more of a gentle stroll around our farm. It is approximately 1 mile and can take up to an hour. The walk is across fields and paths with some little hills.

What should I wear for a walk?

We recommend that you wear water proof clothing and sensible walking shoes. It can get muddy here on the farm and it would be a shame if you ruined your new shoes.

How much is each experience?

Alpaca Walk

The walk is €23 per person (12 years+)

This includes Meet and Greet with the alpacas, a gentle walk around the farm/trail area with your chosen alpaca and you can feed your alpaca a lovely treat. You will have the opportunity to take as many pictures as you want and you could make it on the Selfie Spot Gallery. This includes refreshments following the walk

The Meet and Greet

The Meet and Greet is €10 per adult (16+), €8 per child (2+) and under 2’s come free.

The Meet and Greet is a great option for families with children too young for the walks. We introduce you to all of our fluffy alpacas, you get the chance to hand feed them and give some of the more sociable alpacas a hug. You will get the chance to take part in an Alpaca Fact Finding Trail around one of the fields in search for alpaca facts. Once the kids have gathered all the facts they will be rewarded with a certificate before they leave. You can then take a stroll around our Fairy Village to see if you can find the fairy doors, then feed the chickens if they are feeling hungry. Refreshments (tea/coffee/hot-chocolate/juice) with homemade alpaca biscuits will be offered to everyone. Children will get a sticker, certificate, and colour-in sheets are available for them to colour in at the farm or to take home. There will be plenty of opportunity for pictures throughout the visit. This experience lasts about 2 hours.

Private group bookings can be arranged. The cost for Group Bookings and Special Occasions are dependent upon individual requests.

*Contact us to find out about the optional extras available for each experience.
